Doctor Whooch // Episode 013 // Sexy Shirt Opportunities

In which Brandon and Danica can’t remember your names. We’re looking at you, Sarah Jessica Miller.

On ths week’s show, Danica fixes another broken part of Brandon, as he finally finishes his exploration of series one with “Bad Wolf” (Episode Twelve) and “The Parting of The Ways” (Episode Thirteen) and finds it to be quite fantastic. Then, they talk about “Age of Steel” (Series Two, Episode Six… or Seven if you count the Christmas Special) and they don’t get distracted by James Wolk at all. At. ALL.

Outro music is “Hey Mickey” by The Riplets

Doctor Whooch // Episode 012 // Surf Into Space

In which Brandon needs to learn how to talk.

On this week’s show, Danica and Brandon celebrate the Twelfth Doctor (sort of) by watching “The Fires of Pompeii” (Series 4, Episode 2), but not Peter Capaldi’s episodes of Torchwood, because Brandon is horrible and hasn’t watched them yet. On a similar note, Brandon continues his first watch through of Series One with the elventh episode, “Boomtown”. That’s a pun, you see. They also talked about their various travels through space, but not time.

And remember: if you’re in Edmonton on the weekend of November 16th and 17th, make sure you stop by Pure Spec, Edmonton’s best science and fiction festival! We will be hosting the show’s big Doctor Who 50th Anniversary from 2:45pm to 4:15pm on Sunday, November 17th, talking to fellow Whovians about the series both now and then, and offer their thoughts on the inevitably timey-whimey future. We’re currently lining up guests for this extravaganza, which will be recorded as a decidedly irregular episode of the podcast, seeing how it will be live and fairly sober. So please, join us live and experience one of the best literary festivals Edmonton has to offer!

Doctor Whooch // Episode 011 // A Secret Crush

In which we celebrate the Eleventh Doctor by revealing which beverage is totally punk rock.

This week on the podcast, Danica and Brandon reveal their TV crushes, which episode was playing the night they met, and why they love Neil Gaiman. In terms of Who, they watched “The Wedding of River Song” (Series 6, Episode 13) and “Nightmare in Silver” (Series 7, Episode 13). Also, Lee Pace? Call us. We want to talk to you about Gallifrey High.

Doctor Whooch // Episode 010 // Bring Your Own Pockets

In which we celebrate all things Tennant in our Tennanth episode!

This week, Brandon and Danica are coming at you from the pelatial Remada Hotel in Westlock, Alberta, where there is an abundance of quiet and cows, but no shots. Still, they get drunk and talk Tennant (and Catherine Tate) as they watch “The Runaway Bride” (Series 3 Christmas Special) and “Turn Left” (Series 4, Episode 12). They also talk about how money is weird, and how Brandon has strange word gaps.

This week’s outro is “Pocket Full of Sunshine” by Natasha Bedingfield.

Doctor Whooch // Episode 009 // Join the Porn Commission

In which we get a little off topic and get saucy with the rules of the internet.

On this week’s show, we celebrate the ninth Doctor (a bit) and watch “Father’s Day” (Series One, Episode Eight) and “The Sontaran Stratagem” (Series Four, Episode Four). Only one of those have Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor, but hey, whatever. In between fits of sexy talk, we continue to talk about how much we love Donna, this time including a heaping scoop of fondness for Martha Jones and their delicious banter with each other. Also there are time pterodactyls.

This week’s outro is “My Sharona” by Veruca Salt.

Doctor Whooch // Episode 008 // The Beefcake Need

In which we get distracted by the human figure. Ladies.

This week, Brandon and Danica don’t watch any episodes of Doctor Who, as they celebrate the announcement of Peter Capaldi as the next Doctor! Swoon as they attempt to talk about The Thick of It and In The Loop, but get distracted by various Chris’! Marvel at Brandon trying to explain his disdain for polititians roughly five drinks in! And discover within yourself your very own Beefcake Need.

(We love you, Peter Capaldi.)

Doctor Whooch // Episode 007 // A Fitty

In which Brandon really, really loves Raspberry Sour Puss.

On this week’s podcast, Brandon and Danica drink some Sonic Screwdrivers (the Eleventh edition!) and decide to pitch a show to the BBC about homosexual males and train cars (but they are far more British about it. Because they are drunk.)  In the meantime (and in-between time) they talk about the seventh episode of series one (“The Long Game”) and the closer to series four, “Journey’s End”. They wax poetic about Donna, and then get sad.

Outro music is “Donna” by Richie Valens.

Doctor Whooch // Episode 006 // Looks British With Its Shirt Off

In which Danica become genealogy experts through dubious means.

It’s episode six! This time around, Danica and Brandon are both really drunk (yay!) and accidently create a new superhero and supervillain. Oh, and they also cast The Doctor in the upcoming CW teen drama, Gallifrey High, and maybe talk about a couple of episodes of Doctor Who. (Specifically? “Flesh and Stone” from Series 5, and “The Christmas Invasion” from the start of Series 2.)

Also, they miss Donna.

Outro music is “Hands Open” by Snow Patrol.

Doctor Whooch // Episode 005 // Going To Put A Womb In You

In which Brandon is far more drunk than Danica, and it shows.

In this fifth installment, Brandon and Danica teach the world about relationships, Brandon is not allowed to talk to kids about jam, and someone’s getting pregnant? Also, we discuss the second Craig episode (“Closing Time” – the twelfth episode from series 6) as well as the Moffet penned “The Girl in the Fireplace” from Series 2 (Episode 5), and determine that Craig is the best. We want more Craig, you guys.

Outro music is “Inches and Falling” by The Format.

Doctor Whooch // Episode 004 // Josh Schwartz, Call Us!

In which we get off track and accidently create a brand new show for the CW’s 2014 Fall Line Up.

Danica and Brandon return in this episode and create a brand new sexy genre show and talk about how best to kill robots if you are in the Washington State area. As for what WHO was watched, they finally took the plunge and watched a run from the old series for the very first time. Marvel as Brandon and Danica go three (plus) drinks deep and attempt to describe the awesomeness of Tom Baker as The Doctor, and the dubiousness of “savage alien warrior” Leela, who is Not Very Good at knife things, in “The Robots of Death”!

Outro music is “California” by Phantom Planet.
