In which Brandon and Danica are running on two (?) hours of sleep and then get drunk. Because… yeah. Yes.

Series 9 keeps rolling on, and we’re keeping up… mostly. It was a weekend of store events (including a 24 hour event) but there’s always time to get crunk and watch The Doctor pal around on a base. Nothing EVER goes wrong on bases, you guys. NOTHING.

Marvel as they don’t actually pass out. Tremble as we… as we actually really, really like Series 9. Because SERIES 9, you guys. So good.

On this week’s episode, Brandon and Danica tackle the second part of the Series 9 opening – The Witch’s Familiar. There are Daleks! And fighting! And metaphors that we totally understood, maybe. Also slurring. But there’s always slurring. Being drunk will do that to you, it seems. That’s a thing we’ve learned, you see.

Series 9 is here, and has somehow wrecked our alcohol tolerance, so we’re preeeeeeetty drunk. So drunk that we might have ended up offending German people definitely, Christian people probably, and potentially everybody else. So… par for the course? Anyway, if you’ve been waiting (WAITING) to hear us slur our opinions about The Magician’s Apprentice, then you’ve come to the right place. Oh, and at the end, we talk about racial issues and sexism on our drunk podcast and that’s definitely a thing.

In which we swear a bunch and nobody has any problems with anyone or anything that happens in the episode. Yup.

On this week’s show, we’re talking about the series 8 episode “Into the Dalek” and Brandon does a MadLibs by himself, and it’s horrible. HORRIBLE. We also learn about space, maybe, and things get mega adoraballs. Oh, and we get really mad at Moffat and then try to rap with him with some real talk, which almost definitely works.

In which we revisit the day we got engaged, with cursing.

First: EXCITING NEWS! Doctor Whooch will be weekly through the end of Series 9, and that’s going to be a thing.

Now: as we count down to the premiere of Series 9, we’re revisiting the first episode of Series 8: Deep Breath. And guess what. We have Moffat opinions. Also, we search for The Master slash fic (but generally forget to finish that quest), find out that we’re not good with boats, and Danica swears at the cats and generally can’t say words or names.

Doctor Whooch // Episode 062 // The Doctor Fights A Satan

In which The Doctor and Rose end up on a space station, and absolutely nothing goes wrong.

On this week’s episode, Brandon and Danica head back to their roots, and fix a part of Brandon that’s broken. Mainly, the fact that he seemingly skipped an entire disc of David Tennant’s run on Doctor Who. To that end, they watch episodes 8 and 9 of Series 2: “The Impossible Planet” and “The Satan Pit” and now Brandon is almost whole again. All he needs to do is see “Love and Monsters” which he has been warned will be a thing. So there’s that.

Also? Some Bojack Horseman talk, because that show is stunningly good, and gives us all the feels. ALL OF THEM. Enjoy!

Then it’s straight onto “The Doctor’s Daughter” (Series 4, Episode 6) where we contemplate the meta story and almost break our pickled brains.

Sex stuff will happen.

Yeah, we’ve done 50 of these. Well… 51, sort of.

What you’re going to see below is the complete 50th episode of Doctor Whooch, in which we get all of our favourite guests back from the previous 49 episodes, and also James is there. It was fun, and super hard to edit. So there’s that.

Episode 50a: Shut Up, James

In which we celebrate 50 episodes of Doctor Whooch by drinking with a bunch of our friends!

It’s a two-part celebration of almost two years worth of drinking. Clearly we’ve been doing something right. Anyway, in the first part of our 50th episode, we have Katie, Jess and Lou from Boozy Boob Tube, along with Cody F. Schmidt and James Leask on the show to talk about the 50th Anniversary Special, “The Day of the Doctor”. Along the way, we talk about expensive man hair cuts, the shaming of the elderly, and a whole bunch of other things jumbled amidst drunken laughter. It was a fun time.
